Our Mission
At Black Rooster Acres, our mission is to bake ridiculously good sourdough, yeast breads and treats that make you wonder why you ever settled for store-bought. Fueled by fresh eggs, caffeine, stubborn roosters, and a whole lot of laughter, we are here to keep bellies full, neighbors happy, and husbands from 'taste-testing' the entire inventory.
Vision
Our vision is to see Black Rooster Acres grow into a cozy community staple—a place where our handmade, homestead-crafted baked goods and crafts bring people together, sparks joy, and fills homes with the kind of warmth that only real food can. We dream of expanding from porch pick-ups to a welcoming farm stand where neighbors gather, local makers share their gifts, and my husband—ever the loyal “quality control specialist”—cheers us on while sneaking a loaf or two.
